The Water of Life

Do you feel parched today or dry?
Are you thirsty and can’t explain the longing within that makes you yearn for something more?
Is there a sense as you go about your day and life, that there is something drawing you toward a higher life ? Like you were made for more then you are experiencing?
Sometime we go to the same old things to try to satisfy this kind of longing and we find it less and less satisfying and need more and more of it. This applies to almost anything that we might be doing to try to satisfy this thirst.
May I gently suggest today, that the longing may be from beyond the world of what is seen? Might it be a whisper from God and a drawing of divine love? Does it feel like a peace your never known trying to bring you into its perfect peacefulness ? A deep joy that has nothing to do with your circumstances? A joy of life that is filled with abundance and meaning.
There is a drawing, we can ignore it and even fight against it for sure. There will be times when gods spirit draws more intensely and times when it will be very faint if discernible at all. I hope today, you will sense the whisper and find water to satisfy your thirst.
